Collagen & a Hair Note

When my favorite hair and skin supplement was discontinued years ago I tried another option. And I noticed a definite difference. Not a positive one.

So I was happy when I found an out of date bottle of the discontinued supplement in my pile. I compared the ingredients between the old and the new and the primary difference was that the new did not include marine collagen.

Solution? When inspired, I now add Vital Proteins Marine Collagen to my mix of things. And I notice the positive difference.

Collagen is one of the main components the body needs to build hair, nails and cartilage in the body.

In some cases it helps relieve joint pain. It could prevent bone loss and improve skin elasticity. It promotes the proteins that make elastin and fibrillin that help the structure of skin.

Food sources include chicken skin, pork skin, beef and fish.
