MAYBE this is a reason that the prescribers really want us to change the thirty day contacts every thirty days. Just tossing out the thought.
Toxic polyfluoroalkyl or perfluoroalkyl chemicals, collectively known as PFAS, may be lurking in your contact lenses. Related but separate: because of these “forever chemicals” we stopped using Microwave popcorn long ago. And we never use nonstick cookware.
For many reasons, including potential “forever chemicals” we never eat anything that comes through a window.
