Deceivers

How do we Recognize & Deflect Them?

Throughout our lives we will encounter deceivers. Our background and childhood training does not always prepare us for those times.

As a result, we can become hypervigilant, stressed, fearful and feel powerless to deflect and defend our health, hearth and emotions from such beings.

Deceivers do not just hang out in the used car lots. They are everywhere, including on the internet and sometimes are our personal caretakers.

The wolf in sheep’s clothing means the deceiver might finagle their way into our energy field. They might mislead us into believing that what they are offering is solid and truthful when in fact it is a big lie, manufactured to get into our good graces.

This is where intuition and our truth seeker energy can help. Do you have a good feeling while interacting with this being? Do you sense the are investing for your good or just for the invasion of your privacy? Do you walk away feeling positive about yourself and the interaction? When doubt pops up, check into it.

There are online services that can also point out deception. These include The Better Business Bureau, Consumer Reports and other agencies. Also checking with friends and relations you trust for their input can be helpful. Never doubt yourself if you walk away feeling a bit sick to your stomach. That is your ego saying “watch out”!

There is an action that you can use to identify a deceiver when you are in person. It is as simple as shaking hands with the person. If their hand does not warm to your hand or you get a cold dead fish handshake that is a strong indicator to walk away.

When on the internet or over the phone, stop for a moment and ask yourself, “is this in my highest good?”

If it sounds too good to be true it usually is a manipulation or a lie. Honor that thought and feeling and save yourself some grief.

Never sign up with anyone or anything when you are not in full certainty or are on an impulse run.

Trust yourself and your intuition, you are your best authority. And be safe out there.
