As we continue our launch into the new year we are thinking about what is on deck for our own expansion.
As you likely know there are a myriad of tools and methods that might help us along the way. One is to “go inside” ourselves – to close our eyes and wrap our feelings around however it is we are desiring to expand. Feeling it lodges it into our heart and our heart, our desire, is how we allow it to unfold.
It occurred to us that another route is to “go outside” ourselves. For us, objectively “observing” ourselves across the room or field, asking “who are you really” can help to see who we are, including any self-imposed limitations or blockades. Once noticed you can then park that view of yourself in your heart. And if you noticed blockades you can release them, either immediately or over time. With release, the feelings that you allow in your heart will then bump into fewer yield signs along the way.
Remember, we did not begin this life with self-imposed limitations, but rather learned them. It is our job to become our full selves versus let the ways of others define us.
Always with ease, grace and respect.
