The Universe sends signs. If you hold onto a quality or a direction that is not serving you the universe will create issues that illustrate that it is not serving you.
If you are doing work that is not what you are meant to be doing it will likely “not work out” over and over again until the message is clear. You might lose your keys or the presentation you were about to deliver or be stuck in traffic multiple times. You might feel you are in the wrong place or that the timing is off. These are examples of roadblocks and signs the Universe is sending to get your attention and put you on a better path.
Remember what our grandmother’s used say when we were starting to cross the street, “Stop, look both ways and then cross”. This was primarily for our own safety, but also to allow us to be more observant of our surroundings and how other people’s actions can affect us and vice versa. Wise words for how we navigate and react in life.
